DES241 - Week 9 blog

I received a reply from the trust on Monday and was able to hold the meeting on Wednesday. It was quite out of my comfort zone as nobody in the team was able to make the time of the Zoom. Luckily the call went well with Sean and a lot of useful insight was gained for our project.

On the Zoom call, I updated Sean on the new designs we have come up with and our purpose with our ideas by showing him our Miro board. The outcome of this meeting was crucial to our following progress with the project. If what we currently had did not suffice with doing Bill Culbert's work justice, it would be back to the drawing board and pushing us back another couple of days of progress. Since it is Week 9, a couple of days' difference greatly determines our assignment's development.

Luckily it was an overwhelmingly positive outcome, with Sean complimenting all of our design choices and ideas. It was extremely relieving to hear that our approach aligned with the trust's views of Bill Culbert's work and their knowledge of how he would have reacted to our project.

With the approval gotten from the trust, we were able to confidently move forward with this assignment. A meeting was held for me to share with the rest of the team all the key information and decide on our final design. After a vote was cast on the Miro board, we were able to settle down on the final components we will include in our design. With the rest of the team building the final AR, Erian, Wenlin, and I will begin work on the presentation video.
