About the designer
Helen is currently a first-year student studying a
conjoint of Arts and Design at the University of Auckland.

Helen enjoys both minimalist and illustrative designs, and being an admirer of design aesthetics from the past, they enjoy incorporating the highlights from those inspirations into their own works with a twist.

At the end of their schooling career, Helen hopes to get into either the film industry or the design industry. As this is only the beginning of their career pathway, Helen is unsure as to the specifics in which they wish to strive for. Therefore this choice of a university pathway will be a helpful guide to finding where their passion truly lies.
Skill Set
Foundation
Helen expertise lies in drawing on Photoshop; however, their skills were first developed through the works of painting. They now apply those skills they have acquired from the traditional world to a small, lethal... Wacom tablet.
Passion
Passion is an essential attribute needed for improvement and achieving goals set before you, and for Helen, passion is about bringing ideas to life. Whether it is through illustrations, storytelling or pure daydreaming, passion runs strong,
Ideas
The world is an oyster, and Helen draws their ideas from everything they see in life. Designers, artists, nature and emotions, are only some examples of what inspires Helen when developing their own creations.
